   Morning: Departure from Arusha/Moshi 

   • Your adventure begins with an early breakfast at your hotel in Arusha or Moshi. After enjoying a hearty meal, your professional driver-guide will pick you up for the journey to Siha District in the Kilimanjaro region. Before setting off, you will receive a short but informative briefing about the day's itinerary and what to expect.
   • The scenic drive to Serval Wildlife Lodge takes approximately 90 minutes from Arusha, 60 minutes from Moshi, and just 35 minutes from Kilimanjaro International Airport. 
   • Along the way, take in the breathtaking landscapes of Tanzania, with vast savannas, rolling hills, and glimpses of the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro in the distance.

   Mid-Morning: 

   • Arrival at Serval Wildlife Lodge Upon arrival at the renowned Serval Wildlife Lodge, you will be warmly welcomed by the animal caretaker team. You will receive an insightful briefing on how to interact respectfully and safely with the diverse wildlife inhabiting the lodge.

   Serval Wildlife Lodge is a sanctuary to an incredible array of animals, including:

   Afternoon: 

   • Visit to a Traditional Maasai Village After your immersive wildlife experience, your journey continues to an authentic Maasai village. This visit provides a rare and insightful glimpse into the vibrant traditions, customs, and daily lives of one of Africa’s most iconic tribes.

   During your visit, you will:

   • Witness and participate in the traditional Maasai dance and singing
   • Engage in a spear-throwing competition with Maasai warriors
   • Learn about the Maasai way of life, including their traditional attire, houses (Manyattas), and livestock practices
   • Enjoy a delicious, locally-prepared hot lunch, featuring authentic Maasai cuisine

   Late Afternoon: 

   • Return to Arusha/Moshi As the day comes to a close, we will begin our return journey to Arusha or Moshi.
