Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arusha - Tarangire National Park

   • Meet the guide/driver after breakfast, who will deliver a short briefing about your itinerary. 

   • Head into the Tarangire National Park for a game drive. The river and the swamps act like a magnet for wild animals, during Tanzania’s dry season. Witness some of the largest elephant herds in Africa.

   • Spot three rare species of animals – the Greater Kudu, the Fringed-eared Oryx, as well as a few Ashy Starlings, as Tarangire is known as home to them.  

   • Eat a lunch picnic after which you continue with the game drive until late evening.

   • Drive to the accommodation for overnight.

2. Day 2: Head to Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha

   • Descend 600m into this magnificent crater for a morning, half-day game drive after breakfast. 

   • Look for herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants as the Ngorongoro Crater is one of the most densely crowded African wildlife areas in the world and is home to an estimated 30,000 animals, including some of Tanzania’s last remaining black rhino.

   • Enjoy a picnic lunch in the crater, after which you travel back to Moshi or Arusha, where you will end your African safari adventure.

   • Transfer back to your hotel, which ends your safari packages services.
