Day 1: Drive to Great Rift Valley and Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, meet your Tanzanian Safari guide and driver in Moshi, who will give a short briefing about the safari.
Drive through west to the Great Rift Valley and the Lake Manyara National Park. The Lake Manyara National Park is one of Tanzania’s most dramatically located African wildlife areas, consisting of a massive but shallow soda lake at the foot of the Great Rift Valley’s western escarpment.
Enjoy a nice lunch inside the park.
After your meal, set out on the journey to continue the safari. The park’s varied habitat attracts many animals, including Africa’s densely populated African elephant herds, Lake Manyara’s famous tree-climbing lions.
In the evening, you will be transferred to the hotel.

Day 2: Visit the Serengeti Plains
Wake up early and enjoy your breakfast.
After breakfast, be picked up from the hotel and driven through towards the Serengeti National Park via the beautiful high lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area with your Tanzanian safari guide.
Head to the central park area, known as the Seronera area. This is one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species.
Arrive in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti National Park.

Day 3: Visit the Sogore River Circuit and the Kopjes Circuit
- Early in the morning, head to the Serengeti National Park and float silently above the awakening bush, Spot wildlife whilst enjoying the amazing scenery of Africa across rivers and over numerous small villages.
- You can choose to go for an optional Hot Air Balloon Ride over the park (booked at an additional cost).
- After breakfast, enjoy a game viewing drive along the Sogore River Circuit, which is good for possible lion, Thomson gazelle, topi, ostrich and cheetah sightings.
- Enjoy a relaxed picnic lunch at the centre in the shade of the giant acacia trees.
- In the afternoon, follow the Kopjes Circuit, which goes anti-clockwise around the Maasai Kopjes that usually attracts several lions and some formidably large cobras.
- Have dinner and stay overnight in the Seronera area, as per the standard and type of accommodation option requested.
- Early in the morning, head to the Serengeti National Park and float silently above the awakening bush, Spot wildlife whilst enjoying the amazing scenery of Africa across rivers and over numerous small villages.

Day 4: Set off for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Leave the hotel as early as possible so you can see the variety of animals that are only active during the morning hours; breakfast will be packed in lunchboxes specifically for this purpose.
At 6:30 am, set off for Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Arrive at the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the most densely crowded African wildlife areas globally and home to an estimated 30,000 animals, including some of Tanzania’s last remaining black rhino.
Enjoy a picnic lunch in the crater.
Travel back to Moshi or Arusha, where we will end our African safari adventure.
