Day 1: Tarangire National Park
- Morning: Start your adventure in Moshi or Arusha, travelling to Tarangire National Park, known for its diverse landscapes and large herds of elephants.
- We will have an early morning game drive. Witness the sunrise over the savannah as you spot elephants, giraffes, and various bird species. Tarangire is particularly famous for its baobab trees, creating a unique and picturesque environment. Head to one of the designated picnic areas within the park for a delightful lunch surrounded by nature. Keep an eye out for wandering wildlife as you enjoy your meal.
- Afternoon: Explore the Silale Swamp, a hidden gem within Tarangire. This area is a haven for birdwatchers, with over 550 bird species recorded. Expect to see colourful kingfishers, herons, and storks. The swamp also attracts a variety of herbivores and predators.
- Evening: Conclude the day with a sunset game drive. Tarangire is home to a high concentration of wildlife, and as the day cools down, animals become more active. Capture the stunning African sunset and, if you're lucky, witness predators beginning their nightly activities. And finally back to the accommodation at Mto wa Mbu for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Tarangire to Lake Manyara National Park
- Morning: Depart for Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its diverse ecosystems and the alkaline Lake Manyara itself.
- Embark on a morning game drive around the park. Keep an eye out for the tree-climbing lions that inhabit the region, a unique behaviour not commonly observed in other lion populations. Enjoy a picnic lunch near the lakeshore, surrounded by the scenic beauty of Lake Manyara. You might spot flocks of flamingos and other water birds by the lake.
- Afternoon: Visit the hot springs within the park. These natural geysers are a fascinating phenomenon and provide a unique contrast to the lush forests and the lake. Take a stroll around the springs and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere.
- Evening: Head to the Great Rift Valley viewpoint within the park. As the sun begins to set, marvel at the breathtaking panoramic views of the valley, Lake Manyara, and the surrounding landscapes. This is an excellent spot for birdwatching, especially during the golden hours. And finally back to the accommodation at Mto wa Mbu for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Lake Manyara to Ngorongoro Crater
- Morning: Drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a vast volcanic caldera.
- Begin the day with an early morning descent into the crater. The Ngorongoro Crater is a unique ecosystem with a high concentration of wildlife, including the "Big Five." Explore the diverse habitats, from grassy plains to acacia woodlands, and witness the incredible biodiversity. Have a picnic lunch within the crater while surrounded by the stunning scenery. Keep an eye out for hippos in the lakes and large herds of wildebeest and zebras.
- Afternoon: Visit Olduvai Gorge, often referred to as the "Cradle of Mankind." This archaeological site has provided crucial evidence of early human evolution. Explore the museum and the gorge, gaining insights into the history of our ancestors.
- Evening: As the day comes to an end, ascend from the crater rim, bid farewell to the remarkable landscapes of Ngorongoro, and drive back to Moshi or Arusha town.
