Itinerary

1. Day 01: Transfer Dar es Salaam to Mikumi National Park & Game Drive

   • Our driver will come to pick you up at your hotel in Dar es Salaam at around 5:30 am for your transfer to Mikumi National Park which will take about 5 to 6 hours. 
   • At Morogoro, you will get a hot launch then do game drives until sunset. 
   • You will see a lot of animals like elephants, lions, etc.
   • After the game drive, you will be taken to Camp Bastian for dinner, sleep and preparations for the next day's schedule.

2. Day 02: Mikumi National Park to Selous Game Reserve (Nyerere National Park) + Boat Safari

   • In the morning after breakfast, you will be picked up from your camp and driven to Nyerere National Park. 
   • There is a picnic lunch on the way.
   • You will arrive there in the evening to embark on a boat safari. 
   • On your boat trip, you’ll spot hippos and crocodiles in their natural habitat. 

   Meals and your overnight stay will be offered at Africa Safari Camp.

3. Day 03: Fully Day Game Drive At Selous Game Reserve

   • After breakfast, from 7:30 am to evening, you will have a full game drive tour at Nyerere National Park, formerly Selous Game Reserve. The journey will start from the Africa Safari Selous, where our professional drivers and guides will take you. 
   • You will enjoy various tourist attractions, including animals such as elephants, zebras, giraffes, antelopes, and many more. 
   • You will also see birds and other landscape scenery with varied topography, including wetlands, dry grassland, light acacia forest and higher ground with vast views of far-off mountains.
   • In the afternoon, you will get your packed lunch and some time to rest. 
   • Then continue with game drives until the evening, when you will return to Africa Safari Selous for dinner, sleep and preparation for your last day.

4. Day 04: Bushman Walking Safari & Back To Dar es Salaam

   • On this day, you will get your morning tea and then go on a bushman walking tour in the forest with our bushman, who will be accompanied by an armed ranger. 
   • After the walking tour, you will return to Africa Safari Camp for breakfast. 
   • After that, prepare to drive back to Dar es Salaam. 
   • On the way, you will have time to eat lunch.
