Day Trip To Mikumi National Park
Dar es Salaam/Morogoro – Mikumi National Park – Morogoro/Dar es salaam
- Pick up from Dar es Salaam / Morogoro city centre early in the morning and proceed to south of Dar es Salaam, along the Tanzania / Zambia Highway.
- After 5-6 hours of drive will be entered Mikumi National Park. Game drive of Mikumi National Park with picnic lunch or have a hot lunch at 0100 hrs. With 3,230 square kilometres coverage Mikumi National Park is well-known park in Tanzania.
- The park is well-known for its population of elephants, giraffe buffaloes, zebras, elands, greater Kudu, wildebeest, roan and sable antelope.
- Predators include tree-climbing lions (which are in large numbers), leopards, wild hunting dogs and black-backed jackals.
- More than 300 species of birds have been recorded here, including Eurasian migrants such as red-billed ox roller.
- Late afternoon, return to Morogoro peckers, marabou storks and lilac-breasted/ Dar es Salaam.
