Day 1: Dar es Salaam – Nyerere National Park
- Leave for Nyerere National Park at 07:30 hrs by a 4x4 vehicle with packed lunch. Enter Africa's largest protected area uninhabited by a man at 14:00 hrs, where Tanzania's most significant population of elephants wanders in an area bigger than Switzerland! The park is important enough to be a World Heritage Site, and the lucky few can experience a safari in the wild and unspoiled bush. Upon arrival, go for a boat safari on the Rufiji River, which winds way more than 250 km from its source in the highlands through the park to the sea. The river is home to hippos and crocodiles.

Day 2: Nyerere National Park
- After breakfast, enjoy a full-day game drive with packed lunch. The park was introduced as a heritage site by UNESCO. Therefore, the park is home to a pride of lions, endangered wild dogs, giraffes, buffaloes, and herds of elephants wandering in an area bigger than Switzerland, among many more species.

Day 3: Nyerere National Park – Mikumi National Park
- The day will start with an early morning walking safari of 2-3 hours with armed rangers, followed by breakfast. After breakfast, depart for Mikumi National Park. Arrive at Mikumi late evening.

Day 4: Mikumi National Park – Udzungwa National Park
- After breakfast, go for a half-day game drive in Mikumi National Park with packed lunch. The park is home to elephants, velvet monkeys, baboons, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, Thomson's gazelles, and many more. If you’re lucky, you might see a pride of lions ramble around or relax under the shade of an acacia umbrella tree or any other tree. Besides, visit the hippo pool and other attractions found there. After lunch, visit Genesis Snake Park to see several species of snakes and crocodiles. Afterwards, depart for Udzungwa.

Day 5: Udzungwa National Park – Dar es Salaam
- Have breakfast and go mountain trekking with packed lunch. Udzungwa National Park is a paradise for backpackers with the most species endemisms worldwide. You will have a day excursion into the dense rainforest. One beautiful trek is up to the Sanje River Waterfall, which plunges 170 meters through the forest to the valley below. The view from the top is magnificent! After a beautiful and enjoyable hike, depart Dar es Salaam in the afternoon.
