Itinerary

1. Day 1: Dar es Salaam – Udzungwa Mountains National Park

   • Depart from Dar es Salaam to Udzungwa Mountain National Park on 7:00 am with packed lunch.  Enjoy cultural tourism at Udzungwa, Overnight at Tented Camp / Lodges / Hotel / Campsites / Cottages on FB Basis

2. Day 2: Udzungwa Mountains National Park

   • After breakfast go for a day ramble into the dense rain forest to Sanje River Waterfall with packed lunch. Udzungwa National Park is one of thirty-four” Biodiversity Hotspots” and one of 200 WWF Eco region of global critical importance. His greenish massive forest panorama drew an attention of backpacker alike; furthermore the park is a home of an important population of primates (10 species- more than in any of Tanzania’s other parks) as well as the grey faced sengi, Overnight at Tented Camp / Lodges / Hotel / Campsites / Cottages on FB Basis

3. Day 3: Udzungwa Mountains National Park – Ruaha National Park

   • After breakfast depart to Ruaha National Park with packed lunch, Overnight at Tented Camp / Lodges / Hotel / Campsites / Cottages on FB Basis

4. Day 4: Ruaha National Park

   • After breakfast, go for full day game drive with packed lunch, the park providing home to one of Tanzania’s largest elephant populations, which estimated to number about 12,000. The park is famous for pride of lions, hippos, crocodiles hunt on the great Ruaha river during the day and rare or endangered animals on the northern circuit, such as wild dogs, roan, greater and raiser kudu, and grant’s gazelles. 5. Day 5: Ruaha National Park – Mikumi National Park

   • After breakfast, depart to Mikumi National Park with packed lunch, Overnight at Tented Camp / Lodges / Hotel / Campsites / Cottages on FB Basis

6. Day 6: Mikumi National Park – Morogoro Town

   • After early breakfast, depart with packed lunch for half day game drive. The park is home to Elephants, Velvet Monkey, Baboons, Giraffe, Buffalos, Zebras, Thomson Gazelles, and many more; if you’re lucky, you might see a pride of lions ramble around or relax under the shady acacia umbrella tree or any other, besides visit hippo pool and other attractions found, Overnight at Tented Camp / Lodges / Hotel / Campsites / Cottages on FB Basis

7. Day 7: Morogoro Town – Nyerere National Park

   • After early breakfast, depart to Nyerere national park, enroute game drive. Nyerere National Park introduced as a heritage site by UNESCO, and named after British hunter/explorer who was killed in the reserve during ww1 whose name is Fredrick Courtney Selous.  The reserve is home to lions, wild dogs, giraffes, buffalos and herds of elephants, and many more Overnight at Tented Camp / Lodges / Hotel / Campsites / Cottages on FB Basis

8. Day 8: Nyerere National Park

   • The day starts with an early morning boat safari at Rufiji River; you will have an opportunity to witness hippos and crocodiles; boat safari will last for about 2 hours; after that have breakfast, and will have an afternoon game drive after lunch; Overnight at Tented Camp / Lodges / Hotel / Campsites / Cottages on FB Basis

9. Day 9: Nyerere National Park

   • The day starts with an early morning walking safari with guide and armed ranger there after return back to the lodge for breakfast. After that, go for game drive till 6:00 pm, Overnight at Tented Camp / Lodges / Hotel / Campsites / Cottages on FB Basis

10. Day 10: Nyerere National Park – Dar es Salaam

    • After a leisurely breakfast, drive back to Dar es Salaam with a packed lunch.
