Itinerary
-
Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport
- Our driver will pick you up upon your arrival at the airport, from where you will drive to Arusha town for an overnight stay at Mvuli Hotel.
-
Day 2: Arusha To Tarangire National Park
- Early in the morning, after your breakfast, you will drive to Tarangire National Park by land cruiser, crossing the Maasai Steppe on your way to Tarangire National Park, Tanzania's fourth-largest and one of its most diverse. Wait at the picturesque park gate for the driver to fill up the park's registration book. Soon, the impressive Great Rift Valley Escarpment will come into view – a 2,000-foot high wall that rises, improbably steep and incredibly tall, out of the flat plains. Elephants, buffaloes, and pythons are seen easily and regularly cross your path, unbothered by your benign presence and going about their daily routines. You'll meander along bush tracks, explore the Tarangire River's twists and turns, and find elephants drinking and playing in the refreshing waters.
- Late this afternoon, you'll arrive at Tarangire Simba Lodge, where you can settle in and relax before dinner and your overnight.
-
Day 3: Tarangire to Lake Manyara National Park
- In the morning, after you are done with breakfast, you will make your way to Lake Manyara Park for full-day game drives. It is among Tanzania’s smallest parks. Drive through the lush garden is a gentle reminder that you are now in Africa, where exotic birdcalls fill the air. Enjoy a picnic lunch, and afterwards, you’ll continue with game viewing of animals in the park, including zebra, wildebeest, bushbuck, dik-dik, and guinea fowl, regularly cross your path, unbothered by your benign presence and going about their daily routines. You’ll meander along bush tracks and explore the Lake, home to thousands of flamingos and the river’s twists and turns, finding elephants drinking and playing in the refreshing waters.
- Overnight stay at the farm of Dream Lodge.
-
Day 4: Lake Manyara To Serengeti National Park
- Have an early breakfast before you go to the Serengeti's endless plains for the afternoon to sunset game drive. You will make your way around the southern edge of the crater rim, spotting the occasional hyena, elephant, or African buffalo along the way.
- By late morning, you will arrive at the famed Serengeti National Park. The plains seem endless from this vantage point. Stop to enjoy your picnic lunch at Naabi Hill before meandering through the wildlife-rich central Serengeti.
- Later in the evening at your camp, you can settle into your accommodation before joining other travellers in the dining area for some palate teasers in anticipation of a delicious evening meal.
- Afterwards, gather around the campfire before heading off to sleep. Relax in your comfortable surroundings tonight as you are lulled to sleep by the sounds of the Serengeti plains.

- In the evening, drive to the camp for dinner and overnight stay at Pamoja tented camp.
-
Day 6: Serengeti National Park To Ngorongoro Crater Rim
- Half-day game drive in the central Serengeti area starts from sunrise to the early afternoon, where you will take a break and enjoy your lunch. After that, you will have a game en route to Ngorongoro for dinner and an overnight stay at Rhino Lodge.
-
Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater Rim To Arusha
- Rise early for breakfast before you spend a half-day exploring the crater floor. The area is world-renowned in its reputation and very small in its scale so you will see other safari-goers. Don’t let that distract you from the beauty of the place or the fact that this remains one of the only places on earth where you may see all of the Big Five at once: lion, leopard, bull elephant, African buffalo, and black rhino. To maximize your time on the crater floor, you will enjoy a special boxed lunch at a scenic picnic spot. Your journey will take you through this tremendous landscape, constantly changing as animals move to and fro, searching for pasture, water, or east prey.
- In the afternoon, ascend to the rim and drive back to Arusha town for dinner and an overnight stay at the Mvuli Hotel.
-
Day 8: Arusha To Kilimanjaro Airport
- After you finish your breakfast, our driver will pick you up and drive you to the airport for your international flight back home.
