Itinerary

1. Day 1: Kilimanjaro Airport/Arusha

   • Get picked up by our driver from the airport and dropped you in Arusha for overnight at Masai Land Hotel. On the way, you will have the best view of both Kilimanjaro mountain and Mount Meru mountain.

   Destination: Ngorongoro Crater Floor

   Accommodation: Masai Land Lodge, 3 star hotel

2. Day 2: Arusha/Tarangire National Park

   • Drive to Tarangire Park by Land Cruiser, early in the morning after your breakfast. Crossing the Maasai Steppe on your way to Tarangire National Park, Tanzania’s fourth-largest and one of its most diverse.

   • Stop at the picturesque park gate for the driver to fill up the parks registration book.

   • Enjoy this full-day game drive in the park enjoying viewing animals in the park. Soon, the impressive Great Rift Valley Escarpment will come into view – a 2,000-foot high wall that rises up, improbably steep and incredibly tall, out of the flat plains. Elephants, Buffalo's, pythons are seen easily regularly cross your path, unbothered by your benign presence and going about their daily routines. You’ll meander along bush tracks and explore the Tarangire River’s twists and turns, finding elephant drinking and playing in the refreshing waters.

   • Arrive at your lodge where you can settle in late this afternoon and relax before dinner and your overnight.

   Destination: Ngorongoro Crater Floor

3. Day 3: Serengeti National Park

   • Have an early breakfast before you make your way to the Serengeti's endless plains for the afternoon sunset game drives in the park. You will make your way around the southern edge of the crater rim, spotting the occasional hyena, elephant or African buffalo along the way. By late morning, you will arrive at the famed Serengeti National Park. The plains seem endless from this vantage point.

   • Stop to enjoy your picnic lunch at Naabi Hill before meandering through the wildlife-rich central Serengeti.

   • Settle into your accommodation later in the evening at your lodge before joining other travellers in the dining area for some palate teasers in anticipation of a scrumptious meal this evening.

   • Gather around the campfire afterwards before heading off to bed.

   • Relax in your comfortable surroundings tonight as you are lulled to sleep by the sounds of the Serengeti plains.

   Destination: Central Serengeti National Park/endless plains

   Accommodation: Whisper tented camp, 3 star tented camp.

   Meals: B, L, D

4. Day 4: Full day game drives in Serengeti National Park

   • Embark on full-day game drives in the endless pain of Serengeti Park. This starts from sunrise to sunset game drive in the endless plain of Serengeti Park. You will have a great time visiting the Retina hippo and crocodile pool.

   • Continue your wildlife viewing for the rest of the day, stopping to enjoy a picnic lunch at your leisure. Full day ‘discover Serengeti’ game drives. The day for the big cats – cheetahs, leopards and lions. In the evening drive to the camp for dinner and overnight.

   Destination: central Serengeti plain

   Accommodation: Whisper tented camp, 3 star tented camp.

5. Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater

   • Wake up early to do an early morning safari before breakfast in Serengeti. A

   • Have brunch after the game drive and drive to Ngorongoro. Sunrise game drives starts at 6:00 AM to 9:00 am whereby you will break for breakfast. In this day, your driver-guide will pack for you a breakfast basket so as you can depart early from the lodge for sunrise game drives.

   • Have more game drives after breakfast to afternoon whereby you will break for your lunch before you make your way to the Ngorongoro Crater rim for dinner and overnight. 

   Destination: Ngorongoro Rim Area

   Accommodation: Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge, 3 star hotel

   Meals: B, L, D

6. Day 6: Ngorongoro crater Floor - Arusha

   • Rise early for breakfast before you spend a half-day exploring the crater floor. The area is world-renowned in its reputation and very small in its scale, so you will see other safari goers. Don’t let that distract you from the beauty of the place or from the fact that this remains one of the only places on earth where you may see all of the Big Five at once: Lion, Leopard, Bull Elephant, African Buffalo and Black Rhino. To maximize your time on the crater floor, you will enjoy a special boxed lunch at a scenic picnic spot. Your journey will take you throughout this tremendous landscape that is constantly changing as animals move to and fro in search of pasture, water or east prey.

   • Ascend to the rim in the afternoon and drive back to Arusha for dinner and overnight.

   Destination: Ngorongoro Crater/Arusha

   Accommodation: Maua Villa hotel, 3-4 star hotel

   Meals: B, L, D

7. Day 7: Arusha - Kilimanjaro Airport

   • Visit Arusha town after breakfast before our driver drops you at the airport for your flight back home. Note: Book your flight to Kilimanjaro airport (JRO) and fly out of Kilimanjaro Airport. You can book your flight with Ethiopian Airlines or Qatar Airlines. These companies have daily flights to Tanzania.

   Destination: Kilimanjaro airport (JRO)

   Accommodation: Not included (Fly out)
