Itinerary

1. Day 1 - Dar es Salaam to Mikumi National Park, Game Drive

   • Depart at 7:00 am from Dar es Salaam to Mikumi via Morogoro and Chalinze with a picnic lunch pack to Mikumi National Park. 

   • Continue to the game drive in the afternoon, where you will come across lions, elands, hartebeest, buffalos, wildebeest, giraffe, zebras, elephants, wild dogs, and many species of birds. 

   • Drive to Mikumi Veta Lodge. Meal plan: A full board.

2. Day 2 - Mikumi National Park Game Drive

   • After breakfast, proceed for a full-day game drive viewing at Mikumi National Park. 

   • Due to its savanna plain, animals at Mikumi are easily accessed. 

   • Drive for dinner at Mikumi Veta Lodge. Meal plan: full board.

3. Day 3 - Mikumi to Udzungwa Mountains National Park

   • After breakfast, go for a game drive while proceeding to Udzungwa for lunch and an afternoon walk along the tropical rain forest. 

   • Dinner at Udzungwa fall Lodge. Meal Plan: Full board.

4. Day 4 - Udzungwa to Dar es Salaam

   • After an early breakfast, start trekking to the spectacular trails up to Sanje waterfalls, one of the unique features of Udzungwa. 

   • Here you will get a good view of Kilombero Valley, which is ideal for agriculture. 

   • Walk back to the lodge for hot lunch and start driving to Dar es Salaam.
