Admire the thriving wildlife of southern Tanzania. Visit the famous Selous Game Reserve. This UNESCO World Heritage Site hosts a rich diversity, including the African bush elephants, Cape buffaloes, black rhinos, Nile crocodiles, Masai giraffes and many more. Spend a night at a campsite. On game drives, spot - elephants, black rhinos, cheetahs, giraffes, hippos, & crocodiles. Take a boat ride along the Rufiji River or opt for a walking safari with armed rangers.
Itinerary

Day 1 - Zanzibar / Dar es Salaam to Selous Game Reserve.
Depart from Zanzibar at 08:00 hours. If coming from Dar es Salaam, it will be a 45 min ride to any airstrip (Mtemere, Siwandu, Matambwe, Siwandu, Beho Beho, Kiba, Sumbazi, Stiegler's Gorge) near Selous Game Reserve.
Choose the airstrip depending on your accommodation and proceed with a game drive en route to your stay.
Arrive in time for lunch and relax till late into the afternoon.
Go for a short game drive after dinner and spend a night at any campsite (Rufiji River Camp, Lake Manze Tented Camp, Sable Mountain Lodge, and Selous Mbega Camp).
Meal plans include lunch and dinner.

Day 2 - Selous Game Reserve Tour
Go for a morning game drive in Selous Game Reserve after breakfast. Spot animals that include elephants, black rhinos, cheetahs, giraffes, hippos and crocodiles. Enjoy the view of the thick surrounding green cover with our tour guide.
Meal plans include breakfast, picnic lunch and dinner.

Day 3 - Selous Game Reserve to Zanzibar / Dar es Salaam
Start with a boat drive along Rufiji River or opt for a walking safari with armed rangers after an early lunch.
Drive to the nearest airstrip for the return flight at 13:15 hours to Dar es Salaam/Zanzibar.
Meal plans include breakfast and lunch.
