Join us on this 10-day tour of southern Tanzania's famous national parks starting from Das es Salaam. Visit the Nyerere National Park, one of the largest national parks with the largest wild dog population. Day 1: Dar es Salam to Nyerere National Park
- Drive towards Nyerere National Park (formerly known as Selous Game Reserve), the largest national park covering over 31,000 sq km.
- Enjoy lunch en route.
- Come in contact with hippos, crocodiles, and fantastic bird life on a two to three-hour evening boat safari.
Dinner and overnight stay at Rufiji River Camp.
Meal plan: Breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Day 2: Nyerere National Park (Selous Game Reserve)
- Enjoy a full-day game drive in Nyerere National Park in a 4WD vehicle, which gives you a good photographic opportunity and the chance to explore different sections of the vast park.
- Spot elephants, lions, wild dogs, buffalo, bushbuck, impalas, elands, baboons, zebra, wildebeest and greater kudu.
Dinner and overnight stay at Rufiji River Camp.
Meal plan: Breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Day 3: Nyerere National Park (Selous Game Reserve)
- Be rewarded with hot, delicious African coffee in the morning.
- Depart for a game drive with lunch boxes.
- Enjoy bush lunch within the picnic sites in the park then after followed by a little game drive.
- Return to camp and prepare for a 2-3 hour boat safari at Rufiji River.
- End the day with sunset glowing over you while passing by the crocodile and hippopotamus as they leisurely roam around the river.

Day 4: Nyerere National Park - Mikumi National Park
- Collect your belongings and get ready for your safari to Mikumi National Park.
- Enjoy a game drive out of Nyerere National Park.
- Continue with the game drive on your way to the camp. Mikumi is unique for its African wild dog population and it is the park with the largest population of antelopes. Apart from that, Mikumi is also blessed with animals like giraffes, lions, kudu, reedbuck, buffalo, warthog, waterbuck, zebras and over 400 species of birds.
Dinner and overnight stay at Vuma Hills Camp.
Meal plan: Breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Day 5: Mikumi National Park
- Depart for a full-day game drive in Mikumi National Park.
- Enjoy a hot lunch in the park around midday and a little rest.
- Continue with the game drive until sunset before driving back.
Dinner and overnight at Vuma Hills Lodge.
Meal plan: Breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Day 6: Mikumi to Ruaha National Park
- Collect your belongings and depart to Ruaha National Park.
- Enjoy the beautiful landscape along the way and stop for lunch at Iringa.
- Take a 2-hour drive to Ruaha, depending on the road condition.
- Check-in at the hotel on arrival.
- Continue with the evening game drive.
Dinner and overnight at Jongomero Camp.
Meal plan: Breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Day 7: Ruaha National Park
- Depart for a full-day game drive at Ruaha National Park after breakfast.
- Ruaha holds one of the greatest populations of elephants in any African park.
- Buffalos gather in large herds, as well as giraffes, zebras, impalas, eland, hippos, crocodiles, lions, and leopards.
- The rarer, lesser-seen creatures can also be found, including sable and roan antelope, dik-dik, greater and lesser kudus, Grant's gazelle and honey badgers.
- Ruaha is the second park after Nyerere National Park to have the largest population of wild dogs.
- Enjoy lunch at picnic sites at the park.
- Proceed with the game drive until evening and then drive back.
Dinner and overnight stay at Jongomero Camp.

Day 8: Ruaha National Park
- Commence for an early morning game drive and then return to camp for breakfast.
- Collect your belongings and depart to Mwagusi Camp with a game drive on your way.
- Check in with the camp upon arrival and enjoy a delicious lunch.
- Depart for a game drive until sunset.
- Return back to camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 9: Ruaha National Park - Iringa - Mikumi
- Enjoy a 2-hour-long walking safari along the Great Ruaha River with two armed rangers at sunrise.
- View hippos, crocodiles, lions and many other animals that come to drink in the river.
- Return back to camp for breakfast.
- Collect your belongings and drive towards Mikumi.
- Stop at Iringa for lunch.
Dinner and overnight stay at Tanswiss Hotel.
Meal plan: Breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Day 10: Mikumi - Dar es Salaam
- Collect your belongings and start your journey back to Dar es Salaam.
- Drop-off at the airport or hotel, depending on your schedule.
