Kwembago & Usambara Mountains Excursion from Lushoto
- Begin the tour with an uphill walk from Lushoto town to the royal village of Kwembago and learn about the cultural history of the traditional ruling clan, the Kilindi.
- On the way to the forest, you will meet the local people and see local farms.
- You will learn about the amazing biodiversity of the Usambara natural rainforests and its diverse wildlife, such as black and white Colobus monkeys.
- Visit the historical cave made on the slope of the forest.
- You can have a picnic lunch (optional) at the Magamba peak (1850 m) while enjoying the cool air.
- Walk back to Lushoto town.
