Hualien City - Cultural Day Tour
- Explore the whole of Hualien city and learn about the history of the indigenous people, the Portuguese, the Dutch, the Han-Chinese, the Japanese, and the Veterans.
- Depart from Hualien City and head to the Sakizaya Tribal Village. Explore important sites and historical landmarks within the village. Learn about the Sakizaya tribe's history, their way of life, and their journey towards cultural recovery. Gain insights into the challenges faced by the Sakizaya tribe, including historical attempts at genocide.
- Meet with the Amis culture master to purchase wild green vegetables from the local market. Learn about the various wild green vegetables, their significance in Amis culture, and the stories behind them. Prepare and enjoy a lunch featuring the vegetables, experiencing the diverse culinary culture of the Amis Tribe.
- Proceed to the Taroko Tribe area if you have a minimum of 2 participants. Engage in traditional hunting culture experiences with the Taroko Tribe. Participate in activities such as archery demonstrations and trap-making under the guidance of local experts. Learn about the traditional hunting methods, tools used, and the significance of hunting in Taroko Tribe culture.
- After the cultural experiences of the day, return to Hualien City or your accommodation to end the tour.
