Hualien Tour
- Meet tour guide to begin the tour.
- Walk through the Sakur Trail which is a suburban trail constructed using natural ecological methods, suitable for people of all ages. It is approximately 1.35 kilometers in length, taking about 40 to 60 minutes to walk.
- Visit Fu-shih Village which is located in front of the main gate of Taroko National Park, making it the largest village in the township. Meet the Taroko tribe and know about their simple and sincere way of life.
- Enjoy a scenic drive through Taroko Gorge carved by the Liwu River and stop at a designated viewpoints for breathtaking views of the marble cliffs and rushing river.
- Explore the Jiamin village of Taroko tribal community known for their traditional craftsmanship and witness traditional weaving, bamboo and stone carving demonstrations. Also interact with locals and learn about their cultural heritage.
- Visit the historic Xincheng Catholic Church with its unique architecture resembling a forest treehouse and learn about its transformation from a Shinto shrine to a Catholic church.
- Relax at the pebbly Chishingtan beach offering stunning views of the Pacific Ocean. Enjoy the tranquility of the crescent bay and surrounding, green-covered mountains and participate in beach activities or explore nearby cafes and shops.
