Bursa and Yalova From Istanbul
Begin with an early departure to Yalova by ferryboat from Istanbul, and then drive to Bursa, where visit the early 15th century Green Mosque, and the Green Tomb, where Sultan Mehmet I was buried in 1421, as well as the imperial Great Mosque, Gren Mausoleum, with its 20 domes and 12 massive pillars.
After a nice lunch at an elegant kebab restaurant, visit the local bazaar and Koza Hani - a silk cocoon caravanserai.
Continue to travel by cable car to visit Uludag, that overlooks Bursa and the fertile plains beyond.
Take a short drive to Cumalikizik village that has been beautifully preserved with its early Ottoman private homes.
Climb to Uludag, the legendary Mount Olympos by teleferic (cable car) to overlook Bursa and take some nice pictures.
Late evening, return to Istanbul and get dropped back to the hotel. Enjoy a magical day of incomparable architectural wonders and natural beauty!
