Description

The ruins of Ephesus are a favourite international and local tourist attraction, partly owing to their easy accessibility from the airport in Izmir and via the port of Kusadası. Located to the south of Izmir's Selcuk County, Ephesus was one of the seven churches of Asia cited in the Book of Revelation.

Tour Of Ephesus
Early morning pick up from the hotel.
Transfer to airport for flight to Izmir.
Pick up from the airport and proceed to visit the Ancient City of Ephesus, starting the tour from the upper entrance gate.
Visit the Baths of Varius, Odeon, Prytaneion, Fountain of Polio, The Gate of Heracles State Agora, Temple of Hadrian, Temple of Domitian, Library of Celsus, Great Theater, and Harbor Street with the Necropolis.
Explore the Temple of Artemis - one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, which was a famous place of pilgrimage for centuries.
Move to the house of the Virgin Mary - discovered in a vision, by a bedridden German nun in 1812, many Catholics and Muslims believe this stone building to be where the Virgin Mary lived her last years. There is also a healing fountain here.
Transfer to Izmir airport.
Evening flight back to Istanbul.
Transfer back to your hotel in Istanbul.
