Hi! This is Dicle. I was born (1979) in central Turkiye, in Eskisehir and raised in Izmir, on the western coast of my country.My name "Dicle" is a common name given to girls in mainly southeastern Turkiye because it is the name of a lifegiver river in that area, the   "Tigris" river.Although we have no family roots in eastern Turkiye, to respect our family tradition of naming kids after rivers, me and my siblings were all given river names. 

Having studied tourism management at university, I continued my studies as an exchange student in France.Following the footsteps of my father who was a guide himself and being inspired by him, I obtained my professional tour guide license in 2002. 

With great enthusiasm, I have been guiding travellers from all around the world (mainly from North America) in English and French languages for more than 22 years.

Having started my guiding career in Kusadasi (Ephesus area), I am now living in the resort town of Bodrum with my husband and our 10 year old boy. 

My motto is "do what you love and love what you do".I LOVE working as a tour guide and deeply feel connected to it as being one of my greatest passions in life.I find it very enriching to meet new people and introduce what my country has to offer to those who travel to discover its unique beauties.I am also very keen on history, archaeology, culture, food, customs and strive to add "personal touches" to all tours I lead. I am also a certified tour guide for biblical tours. 

I find the biggest happiness in guiding when the guests leave my country with fond memories and experiences to remember.Hoping our paths would cross one day, we look forward to welcoming you in Turkiye...
