Itinerary

1. Day 1 : Visit Ephesus

   • Drive to Antalya airport to catch a flight to Izmir.
   • Upon arrival in Izmir, meet the Ephesus tour guide, and start the tour of Ephesus.
   • Start the tour by exploring Virgin Mary’s House, also known by the local Turks as Meryem ana or Meryem Ana Evi.
   • Arrive at the ancient city of Ephesus. 
   • Discover one of the most magnificent excavations in the world, where you will be able to see dozens of historical artifacts such as the Odeon, Fountain of Trajan, Terraces of Apartment Houses, stream baths of Scholastika, the temple of Hadrian, and the impressive Celsus Library.
   • See the magnificent Grand Theater where Saint Paul preached; it is the largest theatre in the area, with a capacity of 25.000 seats.
   • One-hour free time to stroll at your leisure or relax and have some refreshments in the cafe.
   • Visit the Ephesus Museum, which contains all the uncovered relics from Ephesus's city. Three essential pieces can be found here: Dolphin on the Eros, Statue of an Egyptian Priest, and Statue of an Eros Head. 
   • Visit the Temple of Artemis (Diana), a temple dedicated to the goddess Artemis in Ephesus. 
   • As the day comes to an end, head on to the region of Denizli.

    Overnight stay to prepare yourself for discovering Pamukkale the next day.

2. Day 2 : Visit Pamukkale

   • After breakfast, drive up to Pamukkale. The Turkish name refers to the extraordinary surface of the snow-white cliffs, shaped over millennia by the accumulation of calcium deposited by mineral springs.
   • The site of ancient Hierapolis and the accompanying museums are overshadowed by the springs but are nevertheless fascinating. 
   • Take a healing dip in the sacred fountain of Cleopatra’s pool.
   • After taking a walk along the terraces, take a short walk to Hierapolis City.
   • Hierapolis City Bath – The springs of Hierapolis, was particularly popular among vacationing Romans. 
   • The tour of Pamukkale will finish at around 17.30.

   Transfer back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

3. Day 3 : Going Back to Antalya

   • Check out from your hotel room. 
   • Arrive at Izmir airport.
   • Fly back to Antalya.
