Day 1: Aphrodisais Museum & Highlights (D)
- Join the tour with the guide at the meeting point early in the morning.
- Set off for Aphrodisais, a truly fantastic site and worth a visit - although a little "off the beaten track", the whole area is quite breathtaking. The city of Aphrodite is on the way to Pamukkale. Aphrodisias is a magnificent city of marble dedicated to the goddess of beauty, love and sex - Aphrodite. The site gives you access to amazing ruins, including the temple, council chamber, theatre, stadium, Tetrapon etc. Aphrodisias in the list of World Heritage. The city was dedicated to Aphrodite, the goddess of love. The ruins contain one of the loveliest buildings in antiquity.
- See amazing ruins, including the temple, council chamber, theatre, stadium, Tetrapon etc. It is not crowded, and you can therefore walk through at your leisure without feeling that you are part of a tourist paradise. Not only are the ruins of Aphrodisias world-class, but the on-site museum also has an outstanding sculpture collection, including the panels from the Sebasteion.
- Visit the Aphrodisias Archaeological Museum on-site air-conditioned with excellent examples of statues and friezes taken from the excavations. Once the area has been reconstructed, the plan is to return these statues to their original places. The museum has an impressive selection of outstanding sculptures collection, including the panels from the Sebasteion.
Drive to Pamukkale for an overnight stay.

Day 2: Pamukkale's Hierapolis Ancient Site, Cleopatra's Pool, White Calcium Rocks and Pools (B)
- After breakfast, drive up to the hill to visit Pamukkale. This natural phenomenon was designated a UNESCO Heritage site in 1988. White calcium cliffs and turquoise blue pools are a sight to behold. Like an alien landscape, you will never see anything like it before. The theatre is magnificent and one of the best-preserved. The city of Hierapolis is mostly in ruins, but you can tell it was significant from the vastness.
- See the tomb and martyrium of apostle Philip. He was either beheaded or crucified (upside down) on that spot, according to legend, and was entombed there. This became an important sanctuary once Christianity had been adopted as the official religion.
- See the travertine Basins of Pamukkale, which are magnificent as it is a Natural Wonder of the World as you will see; it looks as if cotton wool has been put on to the hillside as named The Cotton Castles. The Pamukkale Site is large, and you can walk along and try out the water.
- Enjoy free time and click pictures as your Pamukkale tour guide take you to the museum.
- There is also a pool called the Cleopatra pool which you can swim in, but this is at an extra cost.
- Visit the Hierapolis, Necropolis (cemetery) of Hierapolis, one of the biggest ancient cemeteries in Anatolia with 1,200 graves, Roman Bath, Domitian Gate, the Main Street, Byzantian Gate.
- Walk to the natural warm water terraces, which were formed by running warm water that contains calcium. A swim in the effervescent waters of the Sacred Pool should be at the top of the list on any travel itinerary. In addition to a high level of natural radioactivity, the water contains calcium bicarbonate, calcium sulfate, magnesium and carbon dioxide. After a swim, you should dry off and let the minerals do their magic.
- After you have taken in the sights of Pamukkale, your tour guide will give you approx 30 minute time to stroll at your leisure or relax have some refreshments by Cleopatra’s pool.
Drive back to Bodrum; 4 hours.
