Description
This half-day tour offers the opportunity to explore the legacy of the Ottoman Empire. The tour includes visits to Topkapi Palace, where the Ottoman sultans resided, and the sacred relics of Islam. One of the oldest Byzantine churches in Istanbul, Hagia Irene, and the Sultan Tombs are also visited.

Half Day (Afternoon)
- Get picked up from the hotel.
- Visit to Topkapi Palace: The residence of Ottoman Sultans exhibits imperial treasury, sacred Islamic relics of Prophet Mohammed, a kitchen, Chinese porcelain, weapons, a calligraphy section, etc. Live guide commentary is not allowed in special sections. (Harem is not included in the program)
- Visit the Hagia Irene: One of the oldest Byzantine churches in Istanbul, it was built in 330 on the site of a former temple. This structure played an important religious and military role during the Byzantine and Ottoman periods. The church’s impressive Byzantine architecture and history offer visitors a deep historical perspective.
- Visit the Sultan Tombs: The tombs of five Ottoman sultans located in the burial section of Hagia Sophia are famous for their 16th-century ceramic panels. These panels feature purple, red, green, and blue floral motifs. The tombs also display princess outfits and a Kaaba cover piece.
- Return to hotel.
