Description
Embark on a unique and wonderful excursion from Djerba and Zarzis, which covers the majority of southern Tunisia. Visit the oases where water springs from the mountainside, waterfalls, canyons, fine dunes that dominate the largest Star Wars scenery in Tunisia, magnificent palm groves, and a medina considered among the best.
Itinerary

Day 1: Tozeur via El Hamma
- Departure from your hotel in Djerba towards the Bac.
- Continuation to Tozeur via El Hamma; en route, visit the petrified sand at “Dbebcha” and cross the largest salt lake, Chott Djerid (largest salt depression in North Africa). Lunch in a restaurant: Menu (3 types of salad and grilled lamb).
- In the afternoon, we will head towards the mountain oasis crossing Chott El Gharsa: Chebika, Tamerza, and Ong Djmel, located on the terrace of the Saharan Atlas, celebrated for the natural water sources and the waterfall. Arrive at the hotel El Hafsi or similar in half-board.

Day 2: Old Medina of Tuzeur
- Breakfast and visit to the old medina of Tozeur.
- Departure to Douz door of the desert and possibility of a camel or quad ride in the white dunes
- Continuation to Matmata, the troglodyte village.
- Visit a house dug underground and lunch with the locals.
- Departure to the village of Toujane and photo break.
- Return to Djerba via the Roman road.
