Description
Sign up for this excursion to tour across the significant tourist sites of Tunisia, including the pleasant town of Hammamet. Travel across Hammamet fortress, walk around the Medina, then head to Zaghouan to explore its majestic range of mountains and ancient Roman Water Temple. Lastly, go to the preserved archaeological site of Uthina and see the ancient Roman baths and mosaics.
Itinerary

Hammamet, Zaghoun and Outhina Tour
- Connect with your tour guide in Hammamet or Tunis to start the program itinerary.
- Drive to Hammamet. Visit the fortress built by Muslims and used in the war of independence from the French army in 1956.
- Then, walk through the narrow streets of the medina (old city) and pass by the beach on a paved and glued area to the fortification walls of the medina.
- Next, head to Zaghouan to visit the roman water temple and the starting point of the natural spring of water that used to be the source of life for Carthaginians.
- Have lunch on an ecological farm where we will be able to see Tunisian ladies preparing real-time Tunisian patisseries made from almonds (you can taste them very fresh). See others preparing the traditional bread, and if it is spring, we will be able to assist in the destillation of flowers or oranges.
- Afterwards, proceed to the archeological site of Uthina.
- Midway, we will arrange a stop near the aqueducts, and then we will move to the site to explore the Coliseum and private houses decorated with Roman mosaics, a public roman bath and the temple.
