Itinerary

Day 1- Arrival in Douz
Arrival and reception at the airport in either Djerba or Tozeur.
Transfer to a 3-star hotel in Douz.

Day 2- Grand Erg Oriental Dunes
Meet the guide and support team.
Get briefed on quads driving and safety.
Hike and explore the desert.
Cross some dunes and plateaus.
Have lunch in the middle of nowhere.
Continue south through the endless dunes of the Grand Erg Oriental.
Set up camp at the end of the day to watch the sunset, a unique and magical moment in the heart of the Sahara.

Day 3- Ksar Ghilane
Have breakfast in Ksar Ghilane after arrival.
Depart with the quads to a natural round theatre consisting of red and yellow dunes.
Meet the nomads.
Stop at the oasis of Ksar Ghilane for a bath in the hot springs.
Have an authentic dinner and stay in tents overnight.

Day 4- Douz
Get on the quads for a final day of travel in the vastness of the desert on the way back to Douz.
Visit a Roman Fort, have a lunch break in the cafe Bir Hadj Brahim, and arrive in Douz in the late afternoon.
Dinner and overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 5- Departure
Spend the free morning in the market of Douz.
- Transfer to the airport of Djerba or Tozeur.
