Tour the Kanchanaburi province, a town in west Thailand. It’s known for the Death Railway, built during WWII. The Thailand–Burma Railway Centre explores the broader history of the railway. Nearby, thousands of Allied soldiers are buried at the Kanchanaburi War Cemetery.

Pick up from your hotel in Bangkok.
Drive to Kanchanaburi and visit the Thailand-Burma Railway Museum - an interactive museum, information and research facility. The line crosses over the River Khwae Yai via the Death Railway Bridge. Displays at the JEATH War Museum honour the prisoners of war who died building the bridge.
Go to the War Cemetery, the prominent prisoner of war cemetery for Japanese imprisonment victims while building the Burma Railway. It is on the main road, Saeng Chuto Road, through Kanchanaburi, Thailand, adjacent to an older Chinese cemetery.
Enjoy a scenic long-tail boat trip along Maeklong River to the River Kwai.
Have lunch at a local restaurant, board the local train and ride across wooden viaducts along the Kwai River.
Return to Bangkok and drop-off at your hotel.
