Day 1 : Arrival to Sukhothai / Sukhothai Historical Park
Take a 90 minute early flight from Bangkok Airways, which is the only airline service to Sukhothai.
Arrive at Sukhothai airport, it is located in a rice field atmosphere and is considered one of the most beautiful domestic airports in Thailand.
Transfer with the private air-conditioned car to the hotel.
In the afternoon, start with a visit to the magnificent artifacts of Sukhothai at “Ramkhamheang National Museum” [ closed on Mon –Tue ].
Head to the neighboring Sukhothai Historical Park. This vast historical complex covers 70 sq. km. or 27 sq. mi. Many locals pay respects to the monument of King Ramkhamheang the Great who invented the Thai alphabet in 1283.
Visit the remains of the lotus-bud prang of Wat Mahatat, which served as the royal temples of Sukhothai royal palace. A sacred Buddha image named “Achana” which means unmovably presides over the most photographed Wat Si Chum; an iconic tourist attractions of Sukhothai.

Day 2 : Si Satchanalai Historical Park
Depart at 9 am to visit Si Satchanalai Historical Park. It is approx. 40m drive North of Sukhothai Historical Park. Si Satchanalai served as a secondary position of the Sukhothai Kingdom, spread out on some 200 acres on the bank of Yom River, and it remains a quiet place with an undisturbed atmosphere.
Visit Wat Chang Lom, a huge bell-shaped Ceylonese style Chedi supported with ruined laterite standing elephant pedestal.
Head to Wat Chedi Chet Thaew, and see 7 rows of lotus-bud ruined chedis.
Stop by Wat Nang Phaya, which includes well-preserved floral stucco reliefs.
See Wat Phra Si Rattana Mahatat Chaliang, and have lunch at a local restaurant by the river.
While returning, visit the shops of Sangkhalok glazed wares, famous for local pottery, handcrafted in Sukhothai style in gold & silver antique ornaments.
After spending our long day journey, try a local massage retreat somewhere close to the hotel.

Day 3 : Depart to Bangkok
After breakfast, check out from the hotel.
Head to the Sukhothai airport [according to the preference for the return flight to Bangkok; daily departure flight at 11 am and 5 pm].
