Marvel at a Floating Resort, Lake, Dam, & Temples
- Get picked up from the hotel by the Thai tour guide. Cross the Seresin Bridge into Phang Nga Province, the mainland province adjoining Phuket.
- Stop at Wat Suwan Khuha, a cave temple. This is an immense natural limestone cave, created by nature but exalted by humans. It contains an impressive reclining Buddha. There are hundreds of wild monkeys living in the mountains around the cave.
- Travel further into the jungle, the air becomes fresh, and we are surrounded by greenery.
- Visit the visually stunning Wat Bang Riang Temple, high up in the mountains. A true oasis, this peaceful temple is very pleasing to the eye; a lofty white Pagoda outside, with colourful rooms inside depicting Buddha's story in art. The views from the Pagoda area are breathtaking.
- Head to Cheow Lan Lake. Limestone rocks protrude right from the water. Hear the gibbons' songs from the jungle-covered shoreline. The water in the lake is clear and warm.
- Journey around the lake on a local longtail boat, take pictures and absorb the majestic nature.
- Go to the luxury, floating "small resort" - 'Panvaree The Greenery.' Enjoy a delicious Thai lunch in this unique location.
- After lunch, enjoy leisure time at the floating resort, swimming, kayaking around the lake, or just chilling out.
- Stop at the scenic viewpoint of the Ratchaprapha Dam, a multi-purpose dam in Ban Cheow Lan.
- Return to Phuket.
