Depart from San Salvador to the first archaeological site, Joya de Ceren, known as the Pompei of America, buried by a nearby volcano eruption about 600 AD.
Visit San Andres; an ancient Mayan kingship abandoned during the classic period (250 - 900 AD).
Admire the Coatepeque´s volcanic lake, where you may have lunch enjoying a great view.
Go to the most ancient archaeological site in Tazumal, which has the highest pyramid in El Salvador.
