Description
Explore the Karst region, which is a very important characteristic of Slovenia. Numerous splendid caves, picturesque villages. and well maintained vineyards of Teran wine are a big reason for this visit. Not to forget exquisite local prosciutto that will spoil your tastes. Karst descends into Vipava Valley, a frontier between Mediterranean Sea and continental Slovenia. So many influences mix here, that it is unbelievable.
Itinerary

Explore Bled & Bovec
Morning pick up from departure location by tour guide.
Drive along Soca Valley that will slowly take you out of narrow Alpine valley into wider open area, and finally onto Karst plateau on the border with Italy.
Visit will be in Skocjan Caves.
Proceed to the magnificent underground canyon and the unspoiled underground world that was put on the UNESCO list in 1986.
Stop at Lipica stud farm, the homeland of famous white Lipizzaner horses. The area is also known for typical local red wine teran and dried ham prosciutto, so no better place to stop and taste them.
Descend to Vipava valley, bordered on one side with high mountains, and an area of powerful burja wind that leave their mark in local architecture.
Visit the tranquil, medieval stone town Vipavski Križ, that offers a look into old days of the area.
Drive back to Soca valley and stop to see Kozjak waterfall.
Hike through forests, along picturesque Soca River will bring us to the waterfall.
After a well-deserved photo session on the last stop of the day, return to Bovec for drop-off.
