Postojna Cave and Predjama Castle
- Meet the tour guide and visit the Postojna Cave, where you will experience an amazing system of a series of caverns, halls and caves; 2 million old and about 24 km long underground distance.
- Take an electric train at the entrance. It will take you into a Great Mountain cavern for a distance of about 4 kilometres (and walkable 2 kilometres) around stalagmites and stalactites. The visit will take about 1.5 hours.
- Afterwards, drive to Predjama Castle, which is worldwide famous and lies on the mouth of the cavern halfway up a 123 meters high cliff. It is 9 km away from the caves, and you need transport.
Note: Starting time from Ljubljana is 8:45 am every day.
