Itinerary

Socerb Castle and Piran Tour
- Meet the tour guide, who will pick you up from your hotel in Ljubljana.
- Drive to the coast with a stop at Socerb. The Socerb Castle is the only large fort building at the karst edge above the Slovenian coast and charms every single visitor. The area of the Socerb Castle is registered as a monument of national importance. From the castle, we can also admire the beautiful view of the Gulf of Trieste and the Gulf of Koper – which was the (strategic) reason for building it. There is a karst cave below the castle, which is connected to the courtyard of the castle.
- Proceed to Piran. On a walking tour, you will get to know the pearl of the coast, the medieval town with all its charms and views. After explaining all places in Tartini Square, the location and the port of Piran, we will walk through the labyrinth of the medieval old city center to the Minorite Monastery of St Francis and St. Georg Cathedral.
- Continue to the Punta area, walk along the coast and to the oldest square in Piran - 1st of May Square.
- After 1.5 - 2 h of our guided tour, there will also be time for coffee or tasting local specialities.
