Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arrival in Kigali

   • Arrive at Kigali International Airport.
   • Transfer to your hotel in Kigali.
   • Explore Kigali with a city tour, which may include visits to the Kigali Genocide Memorial and other cultural sites.
   • Overnight in Kigali.

2. Day 2: Nyungwe Forest National Park

   • After breakfast, drive to Nyungwe Forest National Park (approximately 5-6 hours).
   • Check-in to your lodge near Nyungwe Forest.
   • Rest and prepare for your activities in Nyungwe.

3. Day 3: Chimpanzee Trekking and Canopy Walk

   • Morning chimpanzee trekking in Nyungwe Forest to see these fascinating primates.
   • Afternoon canopy walks in Nyungwe provide an incredible treetop perspective of the forest.

4. Day 4: Nyungwe to Lake Kivu
