Tour Irkutsk
Start the tour at 10:00 AM from your accommodation in Irkutsk or from Kirov Square. First, visit the ancient Epiphany Cathedral which was built in 1693, burned down in 1716, and renovated again.
Next, head to the Immaculate Heart of Mary Cathedral that is quite well known for its organ concerts; it was established in 1820.
Proceed to observe the well-preserved (since the 19th century) wooden houses, and other exciting places of interest in the city such as the Governor's Palace and Museum, both of which house artefacts of the Siberian traditions in Irkutsk.
To end the day, walk along the bank of the Angara river or in the historical center of the town. The large Irkutsk Reservoir was in fact built on this river. Then, return to your accommodation.
