Description

Embark on this great walking tour of the medieval city Brasov and visit the Council Square. Pass by the Black Church, Rope street, Ecaterina's Gate, First Romanian School, the Bastions and the defensive towers and learn about the history of the old town. Starting more than 900 years ago the history of Brasov is very close to the knights, the Saxons and the invaders.

Brasov Sightseeing Tour
- We will walk and talk about The Black Church, the narrowest street in Eastern Europe and about the life of the medieval population of the city.
- Find out why Brasov is called the Crown City and why we have two medieval parts of the city, the Romanian part and the Saxon one. Reach extraordinary places that will give you some great views over the city, and very good spots for photos.
- At the end of the tour, you will receive some tips and tricks about the ways you can explore Brasov in the evening.

Know Before You Go

The First Romanian School Museum is housed on the grounds of St. Nicholas Church, this was for centuries one of the leading learning centres of the Romanian people. The printing press that opened here in 1556 produced some of the first books written in the Romanian language. The museum hosts a compelling legacy: more than 4,000 rare books (many printed or copied by hand right here), several hundred rare documents, the oldest Bible (printed on goat's skin) and much more.

Brasov Tour can be book to be made at 9 am 2 pm and 8 pm. The only tour that can be done in the night time. Others may refuse you for a late tour, but we’ll do our best to help you. We understand that you can work during the daytime and you only have time after 7 pm and maybe the next day you’ll go home.
