I like to think of myself as a Hungarian intellectual and mountaineer from Transylvania, who has lots of Szekler and a bit of Saxon (a German community) blood coursing through his veins.As a resident of Cluj-Napoca/Klausenburg/Kolozsvár, I love learning, showing and teaching art history, history in general, and spend much time in the high mountains as a ski instructor, rock climber, or simply as an enthusiastic mountaineer.Also, since my motto is “Life's most persistent and urgent question is, 'What are you doing for others?' (Martin Luther King), I do a lot of community work with people who have special needs and lots of superpowers, with physically, visually or mentally impaired people, as a trainer, organizer, and most importantly, as my therapy dog’s, Dr.Norka’s handler.While working as a tour guide, I aim to introduce my guests to our ancestral heritage, to the beauty of my city, to the many wonders of Transylvania, its beautiful monuments, and its breathtaking mountain landscapes.This is more than just a job for me; I find it my calling to ensure that my clients return to their homes with a lot of new, exciting knowledge, spiritually relaxed, and with their “emotional batteries” fully recharged.My native language is Hungarian and I speak English, Romanian.
