Description

Visit the Arad Fortress, built on the orders of the Austrian Empress Maria Theresa Habsburg after the Austrian general and architect Fillip Ferdinand Harsch's plans. Explore the buildings and the inner citadel inside the fortress, built in baroque style and used as a military base for the Austrian Imperial Army, the Romanian Royal Army and the Wehrmacht.
