Explore little towns in Central Romania such as Rasnov and Zarnesti with a rich medieval history. Head to the wild mountains of Bucegi and Piatra Craiului, discover mountain villages and embark on medium level hikes to the most famous mountain huts in Romania as per your choice.
Itinerary

Day 1: Van Transfer, Bucharest to Brasov
Drive through the spectacular and crowded Prahova Valley for 150 km through plain fields approaching Brasov.
Check in to the accommodation in Brasov and enjoy a light walk in the old town area. There are a lot of sports equipment stores, restaurants, coffee places, and pubs with a good vibe and friendly people in a safe city.

Day 2: Brasov Hikes
Take one of the popular hiking routes in Brasov leading to Poiana Brasov, a well-known ski resort.
Many options for lunch are available.

Day 3: Rasnov
Visit the small and quiet medieval town and an old fortress built on a small mountain. This impressive fortification was never conquered by war. The site is currently closed for restoration works, but simply getting close to it will offer incredible panoramic views.
Travellers can choose a round tour of about 3-4 hours according to their choice.
Good options for lunch are available in charming and affordable places.

Day 4: Zarnesti
Arrive in the city of Zarnesti, which is located near Piatra Craiului Mountain. This national park is strictly protected with a ban on camping, car access, and open fire.
Visit the bear sanctuary. Over 100 rescued brown bears are hosted there, in a place that's as close as it can be to their natural environment. Take up a 1-hour guided tour, listen to sad stories and hope for a better future.
Arriving close to the Piatra Craiul Mountain, travellers will have a choice of a 4-hour relaxed hike to the mountain village of Magura. It's an authentic place, offering great views. Choose between lunch in the village or traditional products tasting. Standard alcohol drinks are available on request.

Day 5: Bucharest
Arrive at Romania's capital city, well known for its vibrant nightlife. Lots of pubs and a great atmosphere in the old town. The city is also known for its architectural wonders: old villas, french influence, and the second-largest building in the world.

Day 6: Bucharest Day Tour
Passengers can opt for a ride on the hop-on-hop-off bus depending on their flight schedule, with a consistent stop to the french inspired Arcul de Triumf and Bucharest's oldest and biggest parks.
