Itinerary

Day 1
- Pickup from the Otopeni International Airport Henry Coanda and we leave for the Sighisoara area, we will have lunch or on our way there.
- Accommodation and dinner at the guesthouse in Apold.

Day 2
- EMTB tour, medium level of difficulty, with a visit to some amazing fortified Saxon villages, castle and fortified churches.
- The route we follow passes thru the secular Brite Oak Tree reservation and is part of Via Transilvanica.
- Lunch in Malancrav or Biertan.

Day 3
- EMTB tour Sighisoara - Viscri we visit the fortified church and house of King Charles and have lunch in the area.
- We visit Saschiz peasant fortress, first documented in the 14th century and built by Transylvanian Saxon villagers.

Day 4
- We visit the medieval city of Sighisoara, the best-preserved city fortress in Transylvania and also the largest continuously inhabited medieval fortress in Europe, registered in the UNESCO heritage.
- Have lunch in Sighisoara.
- We leave Sighisoara area and head for Predeal. On the way we stop to visit the Racoș Volcano, the Emerald Lake and the Basalt Columns, all impressive wonders of nature
- Accommodation and dinner at a 3* hotel in Predeal. Spa access included.

Day 5
- Bucegi Piatra Arsa-Babele-Caraiman Cross hiking tour, we go by car to the Bucegi plateau.
- Optionaly, we can also visit the Ialomicioara Cave, an impressive natural monument.
- We will have lunch at Sinaia or around Ialomicioara Cave.

Day 6
- Hiking to 7 Ladders Canyon, medium level difficulty, 2-3 hours tour, it is a gorge, famous for the ladders and bridges that weave between its waterfalls and rock formations.
- Optionaly visit Prejmer fortified church UNESCO Heritage.
- Lunch in Brasov.
- After lunch we will discover the legends and history of the old medieval city.

Day 7
- After breakfast we start our trip back to Bucharest making a stop in Sinaia for visiting the most beautiful castle in Romania, Peles Castle.
- Lunch in Sinaia.
- Airport drop-off.
