Explore Romanian Highlights from Bucharest
Start your trip from Bucharest at 9 am.
Visit the Curtea de Arges Monastery, the only monastery in Romania which revolves around legends than religion. The most famous legend is that of the pregnant women trapped inside the walls and the death of master Manole who tried to fly with wooden wings. Listen to other legends about this place and see the tombs of Romania's greatest kings (inside the mortuary), such as Carol I, the founder of Sinaia Castle.
Go to the Poenari Village, where the ruins of Vlad the Impaler's Castle remain. Climb more than 1,000 medieval stairs from the bottom of the hill to the ruins.
Head to Vidraru Dam, situated amidst the wild yet serene Carpathian Mountains.
Take a lunch break at a traditional local cuisine restaurant (vegetarian options available).
Leave for Bucharest by 6 pm and reach by 8.30 pm.
