Explore the Turda Salt Mine, home to a fun underground theme park where you can participate in numerous exciting rides and activities. Explore the gorgeous Turda Gorge and dig into the freshness and warmth of traditional Romanian cuisine at Rimetea village.

Itinerary

Tour the Turda Salt Mine and Amusement Park from Cluj-Napoca
- Start the tour at 9 am with a pickup from your accommodation in Cluj-Napoca.
- Travel 31km to Turda Salt Mine with your tour guide.
- Enjoy some free time on arrival to explore the theme park with activities such as Ferris Wheel, Mini golf, Bowling, Boating boating at the underground lake, Billiards and Table Tennis.
- Drive to Turda Gorge at around noon for the hiking trail.
- Head to Rimetea village to eat a warm traditional Romanian meal in the heart of the city.
Head back to Cluj-Napoca with the tour guide.

Warm blouse (in a bag in the backpack)

Jacket (waterproof)

Moisture-wicking underwear

Socks (synthetic or wool)

Hiking poles (optional), we will offer them

Small backpack approx 20L to 30L

2 l water bottle or reservoir

Sun hat

Food for the trail (sandwiches, carbohydrate-rich energy bars, granola, trail mix and fruit provide an instant pick-me-up on the trail)

For winter hiking, the company will provide you with snowshoes, avalanche transceivers (if the case) or gaiters
