Day 1: Arrive in Bucharest
Get picked up from the airport and check in at the hotel in Bucharest.
Go for a short walk to the city center with your Romanian tour guide.

Day 2: Bucharest Sightseeing
- Wake up to breakfast. Visit the Village Museum and the Palace of Parliament (the 2nd biggest administrative building globally, after the Pentagon).
Free time in the afternoon.

Day 3: Bucharest to Brasov
- Eat breakfast and depart to Brasov. On the way, visit Peles Castle, the summer residence of the royal family and one of Romania's most visited historic edifice, unique by its historical and artistic significance. The Castle is one of the most important monuments of its kind in Europe.
- Head out for a short walk to the city center.

Day 4: Bran Castle & Râșnov Fortress
- Consume breakfast. Visit the Bran Castle (known as Dracula's Castle) and the Râșnov Fortress. The Râșnov Fortress is an old village fortress, the best-preserved of them all. It was erected in the 13th century by the local villagers to defend themselves from the Tatar invaders.

Day 5: Saxon Fortress & Sighisoara Fortress
- Rise up for breakfast. On the way to the medieval city of Sighisoara, you will visit the Saxon Fortress in Viscri, one of the most spectacular, the oldest and the best-preserved fortified church in Transylvania, being included on the UNESCO World Heritage list.
- Visit the Sighisoara Fortress. The city was founded by German settlers. Vlad Dracul the 2nd stayed in this city for a period waiting for the best moment to take over the power in the Romanian Province.

Day 6: Biertan & Sibiu
- Eat breakfast. On the way to Sibiu (the 2007 European Cultural Capital), you will visit Biertan. It was one of the first settlements established by Saxons in Transylvania. The village is recorded in documents since 1283. For almost three centuries, Biertan was the headquarters of the Saxon Episcopacy in Transylvania and therefore, around the Biertan church was build one of the strongest fortresses in Transylvania.
- See Medias (old city centre – St. Margaret Church, The Buglers Tower – until 1969 it was one of the tallest buildings globally and by its leaning, the tower is the 6th in the world and the 3rd in Europe).
- Visit the ASTRA Museum in Sibiu (the museum of Traditional Folkloric Techniques, the biggest outdoor museum in Europe) Free time in Sibiu city center.

Day 7: Alba Iulia & Fortress
- Savour breakfast. A trip to Alba Iulia (the first capital of the three Romanian provinces. In December 1918 in Alba Iulia, the Union of Transylvania and Banat with the Kingdom of Romania had been proclaimed).
- Visit the Fortress (built-in Vauban style with 7 bulwarks laid out as a star. It was built between 1716 and 1735 by the Italian architect Giovanni Morando Visconti; it is the most impressive building of its kind in South-East Europe in particular, due to the imposing gates).

Day 8: Cozia Monastery & Bucharest
- Eat breakfast. On the way to Bucharest, visit Cozia Monastery, which is set in one of the most picturesque of the Carpathian landscapes, the pride of the Oltenia region.
