Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arrival at Porto

   • Arrive at the Porto Airport and transfer to your hotel.

   • Delight in a traditional welcome dinner where you will have the chance to try some of the most well-known dishes from Porto cuisine.

   Overnight in Porto.

2. Day 2: Porto City Tour

   • After a delicious breakfast, meet your Portuguese tour guide for pick up and transfer to the historical city centre, considered World Heritage by UNESCO.

   • Take advantage of your time and visit the Lello Library, where Harry Potter books and movies were inspired. 

   • Walk over to The Gold Church of São Francisco and Stock Exchange Palace with incredible granite work and magnificent neo-Arab influences (entrance not included).

   • Finish this tour with wine tasting at the famous Port wine cellars.

   • Transfer back to your hotel relax.

   Overnight in Porto. 

3. Day 3: Douro Valley

   • After breakfast, check out and transfer to Porto São Bento Station and get on board a scenic train journey from Porto to Pinhão.

   • Meet your guide in Pinhão train station and enjoy the best views of Douro Valley.

   • Relish a traditional lunch in one of the famous wineries in Douro Valley.

   • Visit the vineyards and go for some more wine tasting.

   • In the afternoon, go on a boat trip along the Douro river, and enjoy the breathless views.

   Overnight in Douro Valley.

4. Day 4: Douro Valley Picnic

   • Have fun at your own leisure after a hearty breakfast.

   • At lunchtime, get one of the best experiences in Douro, a picnic in the middle of the vineyards followed by a wine tasting in one of the amazing wineries of Douro.

   • Transfer back to the hotel and relax.

   Overnight in Douro Valley. 

5. Day 5: Departure

   • After breakfast, enjoy some free time to relax.

   • Check out of the hotel and transfer to Porto Airport.
