Description

Visit the volcanic island in the Azores archipelago, Terceira and explore the volcanic peninsula which nestles in one of the world's largest crater. Visit the cheese factory and sample a treat overlooking the vast landscape shaped by the stunning volcanic geology.

Itinerary

Sightseeing tour of Terceira Island
- Leave from the hotel /airport/ port at around 09:00 am.
- Explore the volcanic peninsula where you get to see one of the largest volcanic crater ever formed on the island.
- Go to the fumaroles field and look inside the openings in the earth's surface that emit steam and volcanic gases.
- Visit the cheese factory where you can relish the different types of cheese.
