Day 1: Arrival in Islamabad
Arrive at Islamabad, the federal capital of Pakistan. Transfer to the hotel for rest.
Spend an afternoon and roam the twin cities of Pindi & Islamabad.
Take an evening stroll down the narrow streets of Raja Bazaar.
Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: Islamabad Sightseeing
- Visit the Pakistan Monument on the edge of Shakar Parian National Park, an exciting piece of architecture dedicated to national unity and designed to resemble a lotus flower. Outside the monument, there are stalls selling snacks, candyfloss, and even camel rides.
Stop by the entrance of Jamia Masjid to click some photographs of the beautifully patterned archway.
Visit the Shah Faisal Mosque and appreciate the unique architecture. It is particularly captivating at sunset against the backdrop of the dusky mountains.
Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 3: Rawalpindi Excursion
- Transfer to Rawalpindi, Islamabad’s older twin city.
- Spend the day exploring some beautiful old wooden buildings: those from the Sikh era have distinctive Indian looking cupolas and latticed windows.
Transfer back to Islamabad for an overnight stay.

Day 4: Taxila and Peshawar Tour
Drive to Taxila, the capital of Gandhara Buddhist civilization. Visit the ruins of a former city (Sirkup), a former monastery (Julian) built on top of a hill and the splendid site museum that contains the artefacts recovered from the excavation sites.
Drive towards Peshawar along the Grand Trunk Road which was created by the Pathan Emperor of the United Indian Empire: Sher Shah Suri. You may stop for a photo at the meeting point of the Indus & Kabul rivers, just beyond Attock Bridge.
- Enjoy a scrumptious dinner and retreat to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 5: Peshawar Expedition
Relish a delightful breakfast and head to Khyber Pass, the most important and strategic land route leading to the Indian sub-continent. You may be allowed to visit Michni Post, from where you have a panoramic view of the Pak-Afghan border.
Visit the street of story-tellers, Kissa Khawani bazaar, the street of gold (Kasera bazaar), Karavan Serai and Mahabat Khan Mosque. The museum of Peshawar, known for its collection of Gandhara artefacts, should also be visited.
Overnight at the hotel.

Day 6: Back to Islamabad
- Drive to Islamabad while travelling on the Grand Trunk Road laid down by the Pathan Emperor of the United Indian Empire: Sher Shah Suri.
You may stop for a photo at the meeting point of the Indus & Kabul Rivers just beyond Attock Bridge.
Overnight stay in a hotel.

Day 7: Lahore Excursion
- Arrive at Lahore - the cultural heart of Pakistan, the capital of Punjab and the premier Moghul city. Here, you may visit the following places:
The Walled City of Lahore, a historic city centre that contains many buildings, bazaars, public spaces, and monuments of high cultural, architectural and historical value. When inside the walled city, don't forget to visit the 19th-century Sikh period Haveli of Naunihal Singh, the son of Maharajah Ranjeet Singh!
Wazir Khan Mosque, a beautiful 17th-century mosque
Shahi Hammam: also known as the Wazir Khan Hammam, this a Persian-style bath built in 1635 C.E. during the reign of Emperor Shah Jahan
The Sunehri Masjid or Golden Mosque in the dazzling Kashmiri Bazaar
Fakir Khana Museum, which houses the largest antique collection in South Asia
- You may also choose to witness the Wagah Border Flag Ceremony at the border between India and Pakistan, which takes place every evening at sunset.
