Itinerary

1. Fly from Islamabad – Skardu

   • Fly to Skardu Airport from Benazir International Airport, Islamabad. 

   • Pick up from the airport by guide and/or driver. 

   • Drive to Shangrila Resort for a tour.

   • Visit the Upper & Lower Kachura Lake.

   • Drive to Xokh Nala (water stream) – if time allows. 

   • Drive to the city and check-in at the hotel (lunch). 

   • Rest at the hotel or drive around Skardu city and the bazaar area.

   • Night stay in Skardu. 

2. Skardu –Shiger - Skardu

   • Drive through the cold desert to Shigar Valley.  

   • Visit the Shigar Fort Residence. Walk around Shigar (optional).

   • Hike to Jarba Xho – optional 1 hour walk (one-way) for hikers only.

   • Night stay at Skardu.

3. Skardu- Excursion Deosai Plan – Skardu

   • Depart for the Deosai Plateau.

   • Stop at Sadpara Lake for a picnic lunch at Deosai plan.

   • Drive back to Skardu Rest at hotel or Hike to Kharpocho fort (45min hike – subject to time).

   • Night stay at Skardu.

4. Skardu – Ghanch – Khaplu Valley

   • Drive to Ghanche district.

   • Visit the Sailing village and fish farms.

   • Drive to Khaplu Fort Residence.

   • Visit the Chaqchan Mosque.

   • Night stay in Khaplu/Skardu. 

5. Khaplu – Kharmang

   • Skardu Departure for Kharmang district.

   • Drive to the Manthoka waterfalls.

   • Night stay in Skardu.

6. Excursion Upper Lower Kachura

   • Drop at the Shangrila Resort for a full free day at the resort.

   • Night stay at Shangrila Resort Hotel. 

7. Fly Islamabad Drop at Skardu

   • Departure for Islamabad from Skardu Airport.
