Itinerary

1. Day 1: Receive Guests

   • Receive at Islamabad International Airport
   • Transfer to the hotel
   • If you arrive early, you can spend the day getting familiar with the city.
   • Stay in Islamabad

   Altitude 540m 

2. Day 2: Explore Shigar

   • Transfer to Islamabad Airport 
   • Take the morning flight to Skardu 
   • Your guide will pick you up at Skardu airport 
   • Visit Shigar Fort, Sarfaranga Cold Desert 
   • You will have time to do adventure activities in the cold desert 
   • Stay in Skardu/Shigar 

   Max Altitude: 2500m ­

   Distance covered: 50KM 

   Walking Time: Walking in the attractions only. 01 hour max

3. Day 3: Manthuka waterfall

   • Drive to Manthka waterfall  
   • Visit Manthuka waterfall 
   • Return to Skardu by late afternoon 
   • Optional hike to Kharpocho Fort at sunset to get aerial views of the beautiful Skardu 
   • Transfer to the hotel 
   • Stay in Skardu/Shigar 

   Altitude: 2600m 

   Walking time: 01 Hour max

   Driving Time: 3 Hours

   Distance covered: 70 KM

4. Day 4: Kachura Valley

   • Check-out from the hotel 
   • Visit Shangrila Lake 
   • Visit Upper Kachura Lake 
   • Hike to Soq Valley 
   • Explore Soq valley 
   • Stay in Kachura Valley 

   Max Altitude: 2500m 

   Walking time: 01 - 02 Hours

   Driving time: 01 Hour

   Distance covered: 30 KM

5. Day 5: Road trip to Hunza

   • Road trip to Hunza Valley in the morning
   • Stopovers on the way in Ashtaq Nala and
   • Rakaposhi's viewpoint on refreshment and photography
   • Hunza arrival by evening
   • Overnight stay in Hunza

   Altitude: 2300m 

   Driving Time: 5 - 6 Hours

   Walking time: Less than an hour

   Distance covered: 180KM

6. Day 6: Explore Hunza Valley

   • Explore the rich culture of Central Hunza on this day 
   • Visit Historic Baltit Fort and Altit Fort
   • Immerse into the oldest settlements in Altit 
   • Sunset at Duikar viewpoint
   • You may walk and explore Karimabad Street at night 
   • Stay in central Hunza 

   Max Altitude: 2900m 

   Walking time: 01 Hour

   Distance covered: 20 KM

7. Day 7: Khunjerab Pass

   • Check out from the hotel after breakfast 
   • Road trip to Khunjerab pass in the morning - The world's highest border connecting Pakistan and China Border at 4600m
   • You may see the rare Karakoram Ibex and animals in Khunjerab National Park
   • Return to Hunza by evening
   • Transfer to the hotel near Attabad Lake in upper Hunza 
   • Overnight stay in Hunza

   Max Altitude: 4600m 

   Walking time: 01 Hour or less

   Driving Time: 06 hours scenic drive through KKH

   Distance covered: 220KM

8. Day 8: Upper Hunza

   • We will spend this day amidst some of the most beautiful mountain ranges in Upper Hunza 
   • Visit Attabad Lake. Free time for boating and jet skiing at Attabad Lake
   • Visit Hussaini Suspension Bridge and Borith Lake
   • Optional hike to Passu Glacier viewpoint 
   • Overnight stay Hunza

   Max Altitude: 2800m 

   Walking time: 01 - 02 Hours. 

   Driving Time: 01 Hour

   Distance covered: 30 KM 

9. Day 9: Naltar Valley

   • Check out from the hotel 
   • Drive to Naltar Valley 
   • Explore the serenity in Naltar 
   • Visit Nalter Lakes 
   • Return to Gilgit by evening 
   • Stay in Gilgit 

   Max Altitude: 3000m 

   Walking time: 01 Hour

   Driving Time: 03 Hours Scenic Road trip 

   Distance covered: 100KM 

10. Day 10: Fairy Meadows

    • Check out from the hotel early after breakfast 
    • Road trip to Raikot Bridge (2.5 hours)
    • 1.5 hours jeep ride to Tattu Village
    • 3 hours further hike to Fairy Meadows
    • You may use a Horse if the trek is not your cup of tea though the trek is doable 
    • Spend the evening watching the Nanga Parbat 8126m (9th Highest peak in the world)
    • Stay in Wooden Huts or Camp - Your Choice 

    Max Altitude: 3200m in Fairy Meadows 

    Walking time: 03 - 04 Hours of Hike

    Driving Time: 01 Hour Highway. 1.5 Hours Jeep ride

    Distance covered: 75 KM Highway. 17km Jeep ride 

11. Day 11: Nanga Parbat Base Camp

    • Day hike to Nanga Parbat Base camp and return 
    • Start hiking through the forest and the beautiful water streams 
    • Reach Beyal Camp in an hour and a Half 
    • Trek further to the viewpoint and to the German Base camp 
    • Return to Fairy Meadows by sunset 
    • Stay in Fairy Meadows 

    Note: The trek is easily doable for anyone with a basic fitness level. However, horses are also available here if trekking is not your cup of tea. Also there are multiple viewpoints of Nanga Parbat so Base camp trek is always optional. 

    Max Altitude: 3800m at Nanga Parbat Base Camp 

    Altitude Difference: 500m 

    Driving Time: 0KM

    Walking time: 06 - 08 hours of easy Alpine Hike

    Total distance covered: 15 KM

12. Day 12: Gilgit

    • Return drive to Gilgit by afternoon  
    • Transfer to the hotel 
    • Visit Kargah Buddha stupa and Kargah Nala at sunset 
    • Overnight stay in Gilgit 

    Max Altitude: 1500m 

    Walking time: 02 Hours. Return Trek

    Driving Time: 01 Hour Jeep ride. 1.5 Hour Road trip 

    Distance covered: 100KM

13. Day 13: Fly to Islamabad

    • Fly to Islamabad from Gilgit (1 hour)
    • Your guide will pick you up in Islamabad 
    • Complimentary Islamabad city tour 
    • Visit Faisal Mosque, Pakistan Monument, Lok Virsa Museum 
    • Saidpur Village 
    • Stay in Islamabad

    Max Altitude: 650m 

    Walking time: 01 Hour max 

    Driving Time: 2 Hours

    Distance covered: 50 KM within city

14. Day 14: Airport drop off

    • Check-out from the hotel by 12:00 PM 
    • Complimentary Airport transfer will be provided 
    • Fly to the home destination
