Highly Recommend - Peronsable, Knowledgeable, and a Gentleman

In 2017, we visited Pakistan from Australia and did a day tour of Lahore with Mohammed Asfaq. The family we were staying with arranged the day trip. Asfaq took us to the Lahore Fort, the Lahore Musuem, Badshahi Mosque, and the Shahi Hammam. It was a great day and my only regret was that we didn't have longer as Lahore has many beautiful and interesting sites to see and because Asfaq was a great guide. Asfaq was kind, personable, considerate, and very knowledgeable. Asfaq has also spent some years living in Sydney, Australia, and has excellent English. He brought the history of Lahore to life with his stories and put the country's history into broader regional context. The van we travelled in for the day was comfortable and we felt safe the entire time. If I visit Lahore or Pakistan again, I would use Asfaq as a guide.

Lahore and special memories

Ashfaq Khan made my time in Lahore the most cherished memories of my time in Pakistan.  He is a consummate host, knowledgeable guide, and a  jewel of a person. In our custom tour, he chose sights and experiences that were the perfect Lahore experience, because through our conversations and sharing he got to know me and what I enjoy. I enjoy seeing famous places, but also knowing about the history and culture of a place, connecting with people along the way, and experiencing a place like a local, doing my (our) best to get a taste of what it is like to be a part of Lahore.
