Begin your journey with a flight to Skardu with spectacular views of the Karakoram range including that of Nanga Parbat. Attempt one of the greatest treks to reach the K2 Base Camp and enjoy with splendid breathtaking mountain scenery all around you.
Itinerary

Arrive in Islamabad
Spend the day in Islamabad finalizing trekking permits with the Ministry of Tourism and visiting the deputy chief of operations for a briefing on the trek.
Stay overnight in the hotel.

Fly to skardu
In the morning, you will be taken to Islamabad airport for the PIA Boeing flight to Skardu.
Reach Skardu check in free time. Dinner Overnight stay.

Explore skardu
Enjoy the free day in Skardu, Baltistan. The place is also called little Tibet due to its geographic closeness and historic links with Tibet and Ladakh.
Stroll through the narrow bazaar and climb up a cliff to visit the historic Kharpocho Fort.
Visit the turquoise blue Satpara Lake that is just a few kilometers outside the town.
Meals and overnight stay at a motel/resort.

Drive Skadru to Askoli
Begin hiking east from Skardu and soon cross a small pass leading to Shigar- the valley of orchards.
Leave the jeeps at Askoli for a short walk to the camping site.
Dinner and overnight stay at camp.

Askoli to Jhula nala
Breakfast and trek drive to Jhula , Have Lunch there and continue trek to Bardumal, arrive at campsite, free time.

Bardumal to paiju
Begin your day with a tough walk along a cliff to arrive at the new wooden bridge over Dumordo River. Get the first glimpse of Gasherbrum 4 and later reach the point where waters from the Paiju Peak divide themselves into four rushing streams. In the east, dominating the horizon, are the towering summits of Gasherbrum 4, Cathedral Towers and Broad Peak.
After negotiating scree and sand beside the river, arrive at Paiju (3,600 m), which is a picturesque campsite situated in a grove of willows and poplar trees through which runs a stream.
Arrive at Paiju campsite, free time. Dinner Overnight stay.

Paiju to urdukas
Spend the first-hour making the gradual climb towards the snout of Baltoro Glacier- a vast, turbulent sea of rock and ice, which is more than two miles wide and nearly forty miles long.
The first stretch of the walk on the glacier can be difficult as there will be small crevasses but there will be magnificent views all around you. The Cathedral Range and the Trango Towers will be visible now.
Spend three hours walking across boulder-strewn ice, gaining height gradually until you reach a flat, sandy area of lateral moraine - the campsite Khobursay at 4,000 m.

Urdukas to Goro 2
Walk across the glacier’s lateral moraine for the first two hours until you arrive at the green pasture of Urdukas.
Cross side crevasses to traverse the medial moraine. This middle part of the glacier holds small streams of water rushing over clear blue ice.
As you proceed, Gasherbrum 2 (8,035 m, the 14th highest peak of the world) peeps in the east.
Reach the campsite Biango at 4,350 m. Be mesmerized by the thrilling view of Masherbrum (7,821 m) to the south.

Goro 2 to Concordia
Walk along the medial moraine to the incredible sanctuary of Concordia.
Arrive in Concordia, lured by the classic views of K2 (8,611 m), which is the second highest mountain in the world. Concordia - the meeting place of five glaciers – is named after the Place de la Concorde in Paris. Within a radius of 15 km are 41 peaks above 6,500 m, almost half of them still unclimbed and unnamed.
Also visible from Concordia, clockwise from K-2 are: Broad Peak (8,051 m), Gasherbrum 4 (7,925 m), Baltoro Kangri (7,315 m), Kondus (6,760 m), Miter (6,060 m), Paiju (6,660 m), Crystal (6,260 m), Marble (6,175 m) and Angle Peak (6,860 m).

K2 base camp full-day excursion
Trek to the K2 base camp involving a strenuous 08- hour round-trip trek over snow, rock and ice.
Cross the crevasses of the Baltoro Glacier and then walk on the lateral moraine of the Godwin Austin glacier.
Chogolisa (7,660 m) will appear on the scene, standing guard in the south and hinting at the new crossing from Concordia to the Hushe Valley.
After 2 more hours of walking, arrive in K2 base camp at 5,030 m, which is normally occupied by five mountaineering expeditions during the climbing season each year.
Spend time breathing in the incredible view.
Descend to Concordia.

Condordia to goro 2
Begin the return journey to Skardu.
Trek downhill now to quickly reach Gore.

Goro 2 to Urdukas
From Gore, it is five to six hours of the trek to Urdukas.
Stay overnight at the campsite.

Urdukas - khoburzay
Walk down to Biango at 4,350 m.
Stay overnight at the campsite.

Khoburzay - paiju
Stop on the downwards journey in Paiju.
After reaching the campsite and taking rest, explore the surroundings if you want.

Paiju – jolu
Reach Jhla camping site on the banks of Baltoro and Dumurdo rivers.

Jola – askoli
Begin early morning to reach the trek head.
Cross Dumurdo River and then climb the Pari rock and arrive at Kurdophone.
Meet the Biafo Glacier, which flows from Snow Lake and crosses a plateau to reach Askoli.
Take a jeep to Skardu from here.

Jeep drive to skardu
Enjoy your last breakfast in camp on this trek and bid farewell to your camping staff who pitched tents and prepared meals for you during the trek.
Board soft-top 4x4 jeeps for a bumpy ride through the Karakoram.
Reach Skarud and stay overnight.

Fly to Islamabad or drive down to the capital city.
