Day 1: Arrival & Babusar Pass

Overnight: Stay in Chilas or continue to Skardu for the night.
Day 2: Explore Shigar Fort
Morning: Arrive in Skardu and head towards Shigar Fort. Known as the "Fort on Rock," it’s a stunning blend of Balti and Tibetan architecture.
Afternoon: Stroll through Shigar village and visit the surrounding orchards.

Day 3: Upper Kachura Lake

Naran/ chilas- Skardu
Depart for Skardu (early morning) with an early morning drive towards Babusar Pass (4,170 m/ 13, 690 ft). Stop at Lulusar Lake. Photograph, enjoy and witness the surreal beauty on one of the highest passes (Babusar Pass) in the world. Pass through Diamer district and enter Skardu road along the Indus river.
Night stay in Skardu (Shangrila Resort Hotel).

Skardu excursion: Visit Upper Kachura lake
At 7:30 am, depart for the Deosai Plateau. Stop at Sadara lake/Dam. Enjoy a picnic lunch at Deosai National Park.
Explore the Skardu Bazaar.
Proceed for a hike to Kharpocho fort (40 min hike – optional).
Night stay in Skardu (Shangrila Resort Hotel).

Skardu - Ghanch - Shiger
Drive to the Ghanche district and visit Sailing village. Then, visit a fish farm followed by a drive to Khaplu.
Visit Chaqchan, the Khaplu Fort and then continue with a drive to Shigar Fort (if time permits and if participants are not tired).
